Bringing out the Brass Knuckles

When the fire on the stove gets hot, the grease gets to popping, as can be seen when Romney and Perry see each other as the next obstacle in their way to cross the candidacy finish line. Each potential contender flares up like a teenager’s acne when asked about or confronted by the other. Romney see’s Perry as his biggest opponent in the race, when Perry see’s Romney as a way to regain his stolen spotlight.

Instead of launching missals, detonating bombs, or shooting bullets, each candidate chooses to use technology as their medium of lethal destruction. Both Romney and Perry create videos, that will slither like snakes into the voters mind causes a negative perception to sink into their blood stream hoping to shift their weight on their side of the boat, and eventually their ballot.

At CNN Western debate in Las Vegas, Nevada on October 18, 2011, Romney and Perry battled the issue of immigration. That’s when the tantrums or should I say antics began, when the each turned into cowboys and starting dueling each in video works, that leaked the smell of disgust that radiated between them. The bickering continued as both candidates talked over each other like two feet tripping over each other because they can’t decide which foot is about to take the next step. However, the cat fight came to a simmering halt when Romney placed a patronizing hand on Perry’s should during a rigid exchange, and the glare about as friendly as lion attacking his prey, Perry tossed back at Romney.

The video war began when Romney’s campaign released a clip entitled “Ready to Lead?” Wednesday night. The video consisted of a string of remarks made by Perry in debates where he seems to be struggling to formulate a complete sentence. Perry in defense, counteracted with his own video entitled “Misleading.” The clip challenges Romney’s shaky record on healthcare and infers that Romney allows illegal immigrant to mow his lawn.

While Romney and Perry may have a distaste for one another, neither pays any attention to, or considers Cain to be a threat for the campaign, despite him
steadily gaining ground in recent weeks with the polls of some lead Republican voters.
Campaign Funds:

The two candidates Romney and Perry, have campaigned hard, raising the most money in the campaign, ensuring that they can wholly finance a operation to last through the key states, which hold their primaries in January.

The rift between Romney and Perry, the boyish feud between the candidates, is far from unusual, to be expected, and is almost desired. The feud helps to keep both candidates on their toes, and doesn’t allow for anyone to get to comfortable in their positioning because at any moment someone can come at you with a sneak attack that will send you spiraling backwards.

According to MSNBCrepublican strategist Rich Galen stated "This isn't an Oxford debating society. These people are running for president of the United States. You've got to be able to stand up for yourself and knock the other guy down a little bit."

According to Reuters, Romney told KSCJ Radio in Iowa that the tough nature of the campaign "goes with the territory. I think the people in our party want to make sure that the person we nominate is someone who can beat Barack Obama and can go toe-to-toe with him in debates," he said.

Sometimes a fight adds flavor, meaning, and clarity to a situation;
maybe it will shine a light into the true character of each candidate.
